St. Agatha's Church, built in 1871, is a beautiful, but simple, church constructed of large stone blocks. It is part of the Catholic Diocese of Raphoe and the Parish of Tawnawilly. It is located just outside Donegal Town and is on the road (N15) to Ballybofey/Ballyboffey near to Drummenny Bridge, Finnabanes, Drumbar and Aghlem Bridge. In the churchyard is a cemetery that was established in 1829.
