Durch den Wasserreichtum der Glonn und des Kupferbaches gab und gibt es in Glonn zahlreiche Mühlen. Das heutige Sägewerk wird noch immer mit der Wasserkraft der Wiesmühle betrieben. Der Wasserturbinenantrieb speist bei Überkapazität ins öffentliche Stromnetz ein.
There have been numerous mills in Glonn. Today's sawmill is still operated by water power of the 'Wiesmühle'. Overcapacity of the water turbine is feed into the power supply system.
