The statue is located on the bus station of Fritzlar, Hesse. It is grey and about 1,30 m high. On a golden badge you can read:
"The Lion of Friendship, given by Henry Studios, Highbride, England. Honors 10 Years of Friendship, has been unveiled on 13th of august 1999 by CLLR Neville, mayor of the city Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge together with the mayor of Fritzlar, Karl-Wilhem Lange."
