The CCC boys built the trails, retaining walls, steps and several of these types of bridges thanks to Roosevelt's administration and their efforts to get the country back to work. New Jersey was the beneficiary of many work project efforts. The bridge is an arch type, constructed of stone blocks, smallish, crossing over a small stream. The stream empties into Crystal Lake, beginning at Mill Pond. I am unsure of the actual name of this stream although the area it runs through is called King's Run. The site of the bridge and stream is called the Glover Fulling Mill Site and is on the NRHP.
