This former Navy Hospital Chapel has been a Veterans Museum for several decades. It has recently undergone a significant enhancement, uncluttered and refurbished. Most of the walls now have murals ...with military themes of course. This doorway has been painted to appear as if the viewer was entering a bunker of some sort. Just above the doorway, Kilroy peeks down at the viewer with the dates June 6th on the left side and 1944 on the right side.
There are handwritten notes marked on the walls - apparently from Veterans who have visited the site.
