Maple Leaf Gardens served as the home to the Maple Leafs Professional Hockey Team from 1931–1999.
In the Wikipedia history of the site (visit link) there is a one sentence reference to Elvis:

"It was also one of the few venues outside of the United States where Elvis Presley performed in concert (April 2, 1957)."
