The Musee Mechanique is a wonderful FREE museum with very old machines usually found in Boardwalk arcades.... old fortune teller machines, old kiddie coin-driven rides, dancing puppets, many coin-driven player pianos, music boxes, etc. Most of the machines are still usable!
This is an old-time horseback ride....probably from the 1950s. The brown horse just makes a modest galloping-like motion. The ride works and costs 25 cents.
