Route 35, also known as Skyline Boulevard, runs north-south along the ridge of the Coastal Range on the San Francisco peninsula. This scenic two lane road runs from the junction with scenic Highway 9 at the south end to Highway 92 at the north end. Along this winding stretch of road one passes through or by the several Open Space Preserves. These include the Saratoga Gap OSP, Long Ridge OSP, Monte Bello OSP, Skyline Ridge OSP, Russian Ridge OSP, Coal Creek OSP, Windy Hill OSP, La Honda Creek OSP, Purisimi Creek Redwoods OSP, and Miramontes Ridge OSP. The road is lined with a forest of mature redwood trees the whole way.
