George Apps established the business in 1900. Mel Hausser (married Helen App, Georges daughter) managed it when 60 Minutes came to town to interview Mel. Today it is managed by Quinton and Barry Hausser, Mel's sons. Today it has plants, antiques, and bait - great combination to include in your hardware store.
