Hvezdárna v Rokycanech je príspevková organizace zrízená Plzenským krajem. Nachází se na severním okraji mesta v nadmorské výšce 400m se souradnicemi: zemepisná šírka 49° 45' 07,4? a zemepisná délka 13° 36' 15,6?.
Na hvezdárne je k dispozici ruzná astronomická technika, od prenosných, malých dalekohledu až po velký dalekohled v kopuli s prumerem hlavního zrcadla 508 mm. Temito prístroji je možné pozorovat nocní oblohu (Mesíc, planety, hvezdokupy, galaxie, mlhoviny). Pres den lze sledovat skvrny na Slunci.
