This nature center is located on the east side of Evansville, IN at the Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve in Wesselman Park.
The interpretive center is a fine example of what a nature center should be. There are educational exhibits, there is a very nice birdwatching room and various animal displays throughout, from turtles to snakes and birds and other critters as well. The nature center is well staffed with knowledgable naturalists.
