Thanks to Roadside America (website link below) for explaining why there is a dinosaur in Glasgow. Seems back in 2003 as "an elaborate April Fool's thing", artist Mark Cline arranged to have several dinosaurs placed around town to promote business, which was successful effort. In summer 2005, the dinosaurs were relocated to Dinosaur Kingdom over in neighboring Natural Bridge, VA. Remaining on the "loose" is one at the Luray Zoo and this one in downtown Glasgow.
