---------------------------------------------------------
(ENG) Designed in the '50s, such as light aircraft for close air support and ground attack, after winning a tender to supply a tactical game.
The Fiat G-91 was nicknamed small Sabre, because it is extremely similar to the U.S. fighter jet F-86 Sabre, which was also employed in several European countries.
Compared with the FIAT G-91-R4, the R3 was much better equipped as it had two DEFA 30mm cannons, which gave the aircraft a firepower against ground targets, much greater.
