The present day photo of Deal promenade, along Prince of Wales Terrace, shows the last two tall buildings as per the hand tinted circa 1909. The bandstand has long disappeared, but it was sited on what is now the forecourt to the Deal Time Ball Tower (out of shot) and a former theatre/ cinema/ bingo hall (blue dome). Deal is still a favourite place for a 'promenade', no doubt enjoying the sea air as those did back in 1909.
