Im Turm hängen 5 große Glocken und eine kleine Glocke. Ich hatte das Glück den Turm besteigen zu dürfen :)
Die Priener Pfarrkirche ist unstreitig das künstlerisch geschlossenste und wertvollste Gotteshaus des 18. Jahrhunderts im westlichen Chiemgau.
"Katholische Pfarrkirche Mariä Himmelfahrt, Saalbau mit Satteldach, beidseitigen Sakristeien mit Zwiebeltürmen, Westturm mit Spitzhelm von 1708 und Putzgliederungen, spätbarock, 1735-38 von Johann Steinpeiss unter Einbeziehen von Teilen des spätgotischen Vorgängerbaus von 1472 errichtet; mit Ausstattung." The bell tower has 5 large bells and a small bell. I had the fortune to be able to climb the tower :)
The church is undoubtedly the most cohesive and artistically valuable church of the 18th Century in western Chiemgau.
Catholic Church of the Assumption of Mary, hall building with gable roof, two-sided vestries with onion domes, west tower with spire of 1708 and plaster subdivisions, late-Baroque, built 1735-38 by Johann Steinpeiss with incorporation of parts of the late Gothic previous building from 1472, with equipment.
