From the intersection with Smith Rock Way in Terrebonne, travel generally N on US97 for about 0.6 miles. Turn left on Lower Bridge Road and continue roughly 5.6 miles to the azimuth mark on the left.

The azimuth mark is roughly 2680 feet ENE from the published coordinates of LOWER BRIDGE [QD0770], not found 02-27-2009 by Volcanoguy. The azimuth mark is set in a low rock outcrop about 50 feet SSE from the centerline of the road where it begins downhill. It is surrounded by pieces of loose lava rock; there is no witness post.
