Nad bosovaným portálem je nápis "Sub umbra alarum tuarum tege nos dme.1586" a erby Valdštejnu, pánu z Hustíran, Bohdaneckých z Hodkova, Radeckých z Radce a znak mesta Miletína (sv.

ENG: Foundations of belfry were probably already established at the time, when order of Teutonic Knights resided in Miletín, e.g. between 1241-1423. The tower was erected on ruins of the east gate of the monastery. Bartholomew from Wallenstein rebuild the tower in Renaissance style in 1586 and build it up to three floors. On the first floor was the clock mechanism, in the second four bells. On the third floor lived a watcher. During the fire in 1846 all bells were destroyed, but soon were replaced by new ones. The tower was repaired in 1864. In 1916-18 bells were requisited. The next requisition came in April 1942. In 1994 the tower was reconstructed and two new bells were placed there in 1997.
