The St. Joseph Cemetery is also known as Cottleville Cemetery. The cemetery appears to be near or at capacity with several hundred graves. The cemetery dates to around the 1860s and is well maintained by the St. Joseph parish.
The St. Joseph parish is one of the largest in the state of Missouri. Due it is rapid growth it has been split to form a new parish several years ago. The parish has built a succession of church buildings to keep up with its growth.
