The West Madison Milwaukee Road Depot was designed by Charles Sumner Frost of Frost & Granger and was built in 1903. Today it is still in use - as a bicycle store.

According to the Echo Tap, the depot was built in the Neoclassical brick style as designed by the famous architect Charles Sumner Frost. The Hiawatha Room features a photograph of a Hiawatha stream-lined Atlantic at the station in 1935.
