THE STATION IS LOCATED ABOUT 8 MILES NORTH-NORTHEAST OF WHEELING, 2 1/2 MILES WEST-NORTHWEST OF NORTH LIBERTY, 2-1/4 MILES EAST OF THE OHIO RIVER, 0.1 MILE NORTH OF THE OHIO-BROOKE COUNTY LINE, ON A HILL JUST EAST OF THE WHEELING-OHIO COUNTY AIRPORT AND ON THE PROPERTY OF MR. G.W. BONAR. IT IS 34 FEET WEST OF THE CENTERLINE OF A NARROW PAVED ROAD. THE MONUMENT PROJECTS 3 INCHES AND THE DISK IS STAMPED ---AIRPORT 1963 1979---. TO REACH FROM THE JUNCTION OF U.S. HIGHWAY 40 AND STATE HIGHWAY 2 IN WHEELING, GO NORTHERLY ON STATE HIGHWAY 2 FOR 8.55 MILES TO THE SHORT CREEK POST OFFICE ON THE LEFT AND A SIDE ROAD RIGHT. TURN RIGHT AND GO EASTERLY ON A PAVED ROAD FOR 0.95 MILE TO A SIDE ROAD LEFT AND A SIGN AIRPORT. TURN LEFT AND GO NORTHEASTERLY ON A PAVED ROAD FOR 0.65 MILE PAST THE AIRPORT ENTRANCE TO A NARROW PAVED ROAD RIGHT ABOUT 100 FEET WEST OF A LARGE WHITE HOUSE. TURN RIGHT AND GO SOUTHWEST ON THE NARROW ROAD FOR 0.15 MILE TO THE STATION ON THE RIGHT AT THE TOP OF A HILL.
