This cemetery used to be in a field atop a hill, now it is being engulfed by a new suburban development. Sadly sprawl is winning this one, but the cemetery remains. The cemetery is surrounded by a masonry wall and there are a couple of trees within the wall.
The Trexler Family Cemetery has about 30-40 headstones, many of which date from the 1700's and 1800's. There are numerous Revolutionary War Veterans buried here (will also be waymarked) along with German people who emigrated here in the 1700's. Back in Germany, the family name was Drechsler, but it became Trexler due to English mispronunciation.
