Lawrenceville neighborhood is a residential area of Pittsburgh, that sidelines the Allegheny River, spanning from the 30th to the 57th street. The neighborhood crosses three wards of the city, and appropriately the three areas are called lower, center, and upper ward.

These steps connected the community of Stanton Heights with the industrial plants below by the river side.

On the very top there used to be a private catholic school, demolished in the early 2000s and now terrain occupied by a residential structure.
