The Lowndes County Interpretive Center opened August 25, 2006 and is located near the site of historic Tent City approximately midway between Selma and Montgomery, Alabama. It was the first of three planned National Park Service visitor centers along the Trail route. View a 30 minute historic video, hear voices of the March, and touch and feel interactive exhibits--these are just a few of the experiences available in the Interpretive Center.
