The stone reads:

'O.F. STEVENS
SQUIRE OF ZELSTONE
FOR
APPROXIMATELY FIFTY YEARS
THY WILL BE DONE

MANOR HOUSE'

Inside the church is a framed memorial to another owner of the Manor House which reads:

'Sir Michael Grylls served as member of Parliament
for NW. Surrey 1970-1997.

He and his father, Brigadier W.E.H. Grylls OBE. of
Winterborne Zelston House, both served as Wardens
of the Church of St. Mary. His mother Rachel was
an active member of the P.C.C. and the family have
worshipped here since 1950.'

The Manor House appears to have been demolished as modern houses now appear behind the stone.
