Hrište pro sportovní disciplínu DiscGolf ve ctvrtek 20. ríjna slavnostne predalo verejnosti mesto Uherské Hradište. Sportovište je umístené v Kunovském lese a bude volne prístupné po celý rok. Jeho užívání je bezplatné. Mesto Uherské Hradište sází na to, že zajímavý sport DiscGolf osloví verejnost zejména pro svou dostupnost.
„Je to sportovní aktivita vhodná pro každého. Poskytuje zdravou pohybovou aktivitu školákum i seniorum. Na rozdíl od klasického golfu hrác nemusí mít žádné drahé náciní a pro zacátek si vystací s jedním diskem,“ popsal starosta mesta Uherské Hradište Kvetoslav Tichavský.
„Hrište jsme postavili v rozmezí srpna a zárí letošního roku. Jedná se o první etapu, která sestává ze šesti jamek – košu. Další tri jamky máme v plánu v príštích letech. Potom budou moci být na hrišti porádány dokonce i mezinárodní souteže,“ konkretizoval starosta.
