(PT) Os Jardins do Palácio Nacional de Queluz são hoje, tal como na segunda metade do século XVIII, objecto de grande atenção, cuidado e ambição. Embora apresentando alterações ao seu traçado inicial e transformações que o tempo e as vicissitudes da história se encarregaram de lhe conferir, permanece na sua identidade o cunho do empreendedorismo de D. Pedro e do génio artístico de Jean-Baptiste Robillion e de um largo escol de artistas que aqui deixaram um testemunho de inegável riqueza patrimonial.
Os jardins oferecem ao visitante todo um percurso mitológico a descobrir, onde abundam os deuses e os heróis da Antiguidade Clássica, as Alegorias às estações do ano e às artes e, outrora, também figuras da Comedia de’l arte, pastores e animais, temas tão ao gosto do século XVIII.
