Samneung Park in Seoul contains Selloung and Jeongneung, two Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty. Seolleung is the tomb of the 9th king, Seongjong (1457-1494). Jeongneung is the tomb of the 11th king, Jungjong, his son (1488-1544), who gained the throne after his half-brother was deposed.
