Vasco is a nice and curious little boy born in Atlantida on the 8th of June, the day of the Oceans.

Vasco is a Super Hero defender of the oceans on behalf of nature and the planet.

Vasco saves, recycles and re-uses energy, water and every resource that the planet offers him.
Vasco is the mascot of Lisbon Oceanarium and he aims to increase awareness on todey´s need of reducing polution and receycle and re-use the planet resources. His motto is "Let´s help save and preserve the oceans".

This statue of Vasco is diving in the Tagus river in the area that surrounds Lisbon Oceanarium and only the head is above the surface.
