The Petrosomatoglyph depicts the many Native Americans and settlers that traveled the "Wilderness Road" over the Cumberland Gap. The Petrosomatoglyph depicts the feet of many travelers, both barefoot and shoed, ruts left by the passage of wagons, buffalo, dogs, Ox and other wild and domestic animals. Signs also tell the story of the many people that passed along this important rout.
