Built in 1892 in the Romanesque style this depot is the last depot on the Gogebic range. Made of brick and sandstone the depot is a historical treasure. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. It now houses a museum and serves as the office for the Chamber of Commerce.
The depot has a historical marker regarding mining and some old mining equipment in front of it. Also on the grounds are historical signs, a veteran's memorial and vintage bell.
