In the municipality of Boticas there is a considerable number of water mills, which amounts to about 240. Subdivided in two classic types, distinguished by the position of the driving wheel, wheel mills vertical propulsion top and casters or horizontal wheel mills, although the mills are numerically insignificant in this set.
