Today the station is a business office; the tracks that ran along the station platform have been replaced by the Martin Luther King, Jr. East Busway, although the buses do not stop here. The Norfolk Southern Railway (former Pennsylvania Railroad) still has a double-track railroad in this corridor on the west side of the busway. This is the main line from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh. Also of note is that the station is located on a massive public works project that in 1916 grade-separated the railroad from the local streets, requiring the Edgewood Station to be raised as well; see
