This is a Welcome to sign for Niagara Falls, NY, USA located at the corner of Rainbow Blvd and John Daly Blvd. The sign is located around half a mile east of the Niagara Falls.
The City of Niagara Falls is on the West side of New York state and sits on the Canadian border. The city is most famous for is well you guessed it.. The Niagara Falls. As of the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 50,193, down from the 55,593 recorded in the 2000 census.
The city originally was a heavy industrial area with the availability of cheap hydro electric power. Now the main industry for this area is the tourism business brought on by the Niagara Falls.
