Located not far from Waterloo Station, St. John's Church features a sculpture garden around back..and most of the works are mosaic pieces.
This elongated and curved bench has a pattern of different colors on a macro scale....and on a micro scale, one sees leaves, flowers, butterflies, etc. One tile indicates that the work was inspired by Monet's Water Lilies. Another tile reads: "IN MEMORY OF OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS WHO HAVE LIVED AND DIED HERE". Some of the "leave" tiles have names on them.
There is no information at the site about the artist or date.
