Generál František Perina (8. dubna 1911 Morkuvky u Breclavi – 6. kvetna 2006 Praha) byl legendárním pilotem druhé svetové války prezdívaným Generál nebe. Ceský válecný hrdina, který se proslavil v bojích proti nacistické Luftwaffe ve Francii a Velké Británii. Proslavil se nejen leteckým umením a vysokým poctem sestrelení neprátelských letadel, ale predevším svou statecností a odhodlaností.

Pomník venovaný generálporucíkovi Františku Perinovi je umístený v Praze-Repích, kde na sklonku života žil. Stojí pred základní školou, která nese jeho jméno. Slavnostne odhalen byl ve ctvrtek 6. kvetna 2010, kdy uplynuly ctyri roky od jeho smrti. Pomník symbolizuje stíhací letoun Spitfire, na kterém František Perina létal a bojoval s nemeckou Luftwaffe.

Wing Commander General František Perina (April 8, 1911, Morkuvky u Breclavi;[1] died May 6, 2006 in Prague) was a Czech fighter pilot, an ace during World War II with the French Armee de l'Air, who also served twice with Britain's Royal Air Force. He is famous not only aviation art and a large number of enemy aircraft shot down, but for his bravery and determination.

Monument dedicated to Wing Commander General Frantisek Perina is located in Prague-Repy, where he lived at the end of life. Stand in front of elementary school that bears his name. It was unveiled on Thursday, the 6th May 2010, when four years have passed since his death. The monument symbolizes the Spitfire fighter plane, which Frantisek Perina flew with and fought with the German Luftwaffe.
