One of many statues in the Tuilleries Garden near the Louvre in Paris, this statue, entitled "Reclining Figure", is representative of many of Henry Moore's works. Although the piece is very abstract, we nevertheless can see a female figure resting on her back - raising her head by propping up her elbows behind her.
The work is dated 1951.
