These newly installed serpents capture the flavor and spirit of downtown Chinatown. They are located outside a pay parking lot at the corner of 9th and Arch Streets in the heart of Old City Philadelphia. These sculptures are so new they do not even appear on GoogleEarth.

There are four of these green serpents and they are quite a sight. There are two on either side of the entrance, each pair facing one another. These wingless, fierce monsters have scales, a thorny back, huge claws that'll rip your face off and a general unsightliness. They are in attack position, uncoiled and ready to pounce!
