This would be a spectacular view of Snowdon, which at 1085 metres is the highest mountain in Wales. The viewpoint is from the roadside parking area which is at 200 metres.

Unfortunately when we visited it was raining and Snowdon was obscured in mist and cloud that no amount of digital enhancement would remove.

Based on the pictures in the gallery for the nearby cache that's quite a common occurrence here although the Snowdon summit is only about 4 miles away
