Marion's first bank, the Bank of Marion, was established in 1894. The Bank of Marion served he area until December 1902, at which time the First State Bank of Marion was incorporated and took over the business of the bank of Marion.

This building was used until about 1941. At the present time the lower level is used as a second hand store Mama's House of Hope - Clothes Closet and the second floor is a residential unit.

This building is located on the north corner of N. Main Street and W. Garfield Avenue
