Carlos 1800 in Winthrop has a gluten free menu and well-educated staff. They know about cross contamination and warned me off the chips immediately because they were fried in the same oil as flour tortillas. All of the normal cautionary questions were answered before I could ask them. I ended up with a ginormous platter of food - 3 tacos stuffed too full to pick up, salad with lentil corn salsa, black beans, and fluffy rice. I couldn't even eat half of it! It was great to have a good worry-free meal after a long day of caching. I'd definitely come here again.
