Springfield is actively developing and beautifying its tourists areas to make it a more pleasant place for residents and visitors. Several of these cylindrical "You Are Here" maps are located outside major attractions. This one is on the sidewalk of, pedestrian only, Duyrea Street near where the first successful gasoline powered automobile was built. There is a replica of this early Duyrea car farther up the street. The location is also at the center of Springfield's active bar scene.
