This boardwalk provides access across the dunes from Sunset Drive in Pacific Grove to Asilomar Beach.

The Dunes are a fragile environment and the boardwalk ensures that people stay away from the plant life when accessing the coast.

It is a windy area and the planks are constantly covered with sand. We brushed a few to show, that this really is a boardwalk.
