On one side is Bromham Bridge with the Biddenham parish land shown. Sheep graze next to the River Great Ouse and a grey heron looks on. Beneath this is a plaque which reads:

'Recorded in the Domesday Book 1086 as Bideham.
This sign erected 2001.'

The other side shows St James' Church and the village coat of arms.
