The Matthews--Dillon House was built in 1928 one of early houses in the Edgemont subdivision. The house was designed by Frank Carmean of the Justin Matthews Company, the construction company which built the home and developed the subdivision. The brick house is in an English Revival style. The house is in very good condition and continues to serve as a single family house.
