The park developed circa 1933 are part of the Lakewood development. The park is historically significant for the concrete sculptures by Dionicio Rodriguez. The park has seven of these sculptures including a tree sculpture near the entrance and a tree trunk play sculpture. The sculptures are in very good condition.
