Built in 1916 as the Gem (as far as I can tell), The Rex is open on Friday and Saturdays year round and show second run G, PG and PG-13 movies. The movie in the vintage 216 seat theater begins at 7:00pm and all movies are $3.00. They have a facebook page that announces what's showing each Monday.
They don't have a fancy marquee like many theaters but advertise the current movie with posters.
