Croome's claim to fame is being the first work of Lancelot "Capability" Brown. Much of his work remains visible today, and the grounds and their various follies are open to the public, as is Croome Court itself.

Croome's claim to fame is being the first work of Lancelot "Capability" Brown. Much of his work remains visible today, and the grounds and their various follies are open to the public, as is Croome Court itself.
This is a large site. There are various locations worth visiting:
- RAF Sick Quarters, from world war 2. These served the nearby RAF Defford during the war and are now the visitors centre.
- The Church of St Mary Magdalene, designed by Capability Brown.
- The Thatched Ice House.
- The Shrubbery, where a village once was located before being moved by Capability Brown.
- The Temple Greenhouse to house the Earl of Coventry's exotic plant collection.
- Coade Druid designed by James Wyatt
- The Carriage Drive to Worcester built by Capability Brown with pedestrian path underneath.
- The Lake dug out by hand from a marsh.
- The Grotto, which originally was decorated with semi-precious stones.
- The Punch Bowl Gates on the entrance from Worcester.
- The Island Pavilion in the middle of the above lake.
- The remains of the Boathouse. Visitors used to be given a boat tour of the lake by the Earl.
- Croome Court, home of the Coventry family since the 16th century. Most of the furnishings and fixtures were sold off after world war 2. The house then became a Catholic boys school, till the 1970s, then a Hare Krishna Community before being acquired by the National Trust.
- The Urn dedicated to King George III who visited in 1788.
- The Rotunda, on a hill overlooking the site.
- Croome "river". Actually artificial, it is meant to look like a smaller version of the River Severn
- Park Seat, enjoying superb views of the site.
