The landing pad sits at the far end of the church parking lot keeping church goers away from most of the prop down wash (Winds). With the lights around the pad it can be used any time of the day or night. There is a plaque near by thanking the church for there ongoing support of the hospital (see photo gallery). Even though the pad can be seen from the street I strongly suggest pulling into the parking lot of the church to stay out of the way. As with any other area like this if you happen to be in the area when it is being used please stay well out of the way.

The Corry Memorial Hospital is across the street (see photo gallery)so the help of an ambulance is still needed after the copter lands so there is always a police presents in the area to keep the drive way clear and to stop traffic when needed. Patients who take of from here are generally on there way to Erie or Pittsburgh PA or possibly as far as Cleveland to one of the major trauma or cardiac care hospitals. Many of the younger folks are taken to "Childrens" hospital also in Pittsburgh.

At this time no one is sure if this will be the landing pad used after the new Corry hospital is finished several miles down the road behind the local Walmart or if the money will be raised to build another pad closer to the new building.
