Osoyoos is a town in the interior of BC, on the border with Washington state. Its location at the edge of the Ink'meep Desert, Canada's only true desert, makes it a hot and very popular spot in the summer. It borders both sides of Osoyoos Lake, and people flock here for summer fun on the beaches and in the water. There are a number of well-known wineries in the area as well as many small ones, and wine touring is a favourite activity for the adults.
Osoyoos also boasts a very strong First Nations presence which includes a winery, resort, campground, desert cultural centre, and numerous artworks throughout the town.
