This building was erected in the finance district of Leeds in 1976, and Lloyds commissioned sculptor Peter Tysoe to design this impressive piece of public sculpture.

He came up with a very evocative sculpture of a black horse rearing up on its 2 back legs. It stands 4.26 metres high on a plinth above the cash point machines. It's an impressive sight as you withdraw your money.
